Hi mate, I work in a Peugeot main dealer and have done a few engine swaps. Only taken an engine out of a 206 like yours once but don't remember struggling too much. Expect lots of seized bolts and frustration. My advice would be to work from the top down, take battery, battery tray, ecu etc out first. Depending on how you're actually taking. Peugeot didnt use the GTi-6 engine in the 206 due to emissions. The 206 GTi engine is also used in the 406 so it makes sense to use an engine which is already in production. And 30bhp extra from the GTi-6 engine isn't going to make a massive difference to the 206 GTi.
